Sabine Oil & Gas LLC has successfully completed four new wells during the second quarter, targeting the Eagle Ford Shale and other Texas formations.
Houston-based Sabine Oil & Gas LLC has completed additional wells in the Eagle Ford and in other Texas shale plays, company officials say.
The company completed four wells during the second quarter in the Eagle Ford?s South Shiner area of North DeWitt County, according to a quarterly financial report. It?s currently evaluating the wells? production levels.
Sabine also completed its first four pad-wells on the Eagle Ford?s Sugarkane block during that time. The wells are flowing back with ?encouraging results,? officials say.
In addition, Sabine completed wells in Texas? Cotton Valley, Haynesville Shale and Granite Wash formations during the quarter.
Sabine experienced record oil production of 3,335 barrels per day during the second quarter, a 307 percent increase over the same quarter of 2012. Its 165 million cubic feet per day of gas and gas liquids production was up 19 percent over a year ago.
